1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Proholistic Discovery Inc. (“Proholistic Discovery,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a corporation incorporated in Alberta, Canada, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you access or use the InferALL™ demonstration application (the “Demo”) made available at this website.
The Demo is a preview of our Bayesian ADMET prediction platform. It is intended for evaluation purposes only — see our Terms of Service for further details on permitted use.
2. Scope
This Policy applies only to the InferALL™ Demo. The Demo is a read-only, browser-based preview that displays pre-computed predictions for a fixed set of approximately 100 public ChEMBL compounds. The Demo does not accept user-submitted compounds, SMILES strings, files, datasets, or other content for processing.
This Policy does not apply to:
- the Proholistic Discovery corporate website at proholisticdiscovery.com (which has its own policies);
- any future commercial, paid, or production version of the InferALL™ platform, which will be offered through Proholistic Discovery under a separate agreement and governed by separate terms; or
- third-party websites or services linked from the Demo.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the limited categories of information described below.
3.1 Information You Provide
When you submit our Contact form, we collect: first name, last name, work email address, optional company name, optional job title, and the contents of your message.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically receives standard request information when you visit the Demo, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps. These are used by Cloudflare for routing, security, and abuse prevention. We do not maintain separate server-side logs of this information for analytics purposes.
3.3 Information Stored in Your Browser
The Demo uses your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (such as sidebar state and sort order) and a short list of compound identifiers you have previously viewed (“prediction history”). This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us and you can clear it at any time using your browser's settings.
3.4 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require accounts, registration, or passwords.
- We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no Segment).
- We do not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
- We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or genetic information).
3.5 Data You Cannot Submit Through the Demo
The Demo is read-only. It does not accept SMILES strings, structures, compound files, datasets, prompts, queries, or any other content for processing on our servers. The compound predictions displayed in the Demo are pre-computed for a fixed set of public ChEMBL compounds and are served as static content. Any compound identifiers stored in your browser's prediction history are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only for the purposes listed below.
- To respond to your inquiries. When you complete the Contact form, we use your information to reply to your message and follow up about your interest in InferALL™ or Proholistic Discovery.
- To operate and secure the Demo. Automatically collected request data is used by our hosting provider to deliver the Demo, prevent abuse, and maintain availability.
- To comply with legal obligations. Where required, we may process your information to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or other legal process.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, profiling, or model training. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
5. Lawful Basis for Processing (EU/UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process Contact form submissions on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and we process automatically collected request data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in operating and securing the Demo. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
7. International Data Transfers
Proholistic Discovery is located in Canada. The Demo is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network, and Contact form submissions are delivered through Resend, a United States provider. As a result, the limited personal information described in Section 3 may be processed in Canada and the United States. Where required, our service providers offer appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above.
- Contact form submissions — kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any reasonable follow-up, and then for up to 24 months unless we need to retain them longer to comply with a legal obligation or defend a legal claim.
- Automatically collected request data — retained by our hosting provider per its standard retention practices (typically a short period for security and operational purposes).
- Local storage — stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on our team inboxes, and limiting personal data collection to what is strictly necessary.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however. We cannot guarantee absolute security and ask that you use your own judgment about the information you provide through the Contact form.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the rights to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- request deletion or erasure of your personal information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request a portable copy of your information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection or privacy authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@proholisticdiscovery.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
12. Regional Privacy Rights
The following section summarizes additional rights and disclosures for users in specific regions. The universal rights above also apply.
12.1 Canada (PIPEDA)
Canadian users have the rights described above under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and substantially similar provincial laws. You may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial commissioner (for example, Alberta's OIPC).
12.2 European Economic Area & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection described in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (a directory is available at edpb.europa.eu or, for UK residents, the Information Commissioner's Office).
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the scale and nature of our processing do not require one under GDPR Article 37. We have not appointed an EU/UK representative under GDPR Article 27 at this preview stage; if you are an EEA or UK resident and would like to exercise rights against us, please contact us using the details below.
12.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
- Categories collected (last 12 months): identifiers (name, email), professional information (employer, job title), commercial information (the content of your inquiry), and internet/network activity (IP, device info).
- Sources: directly from you, and automatically from your device.
- Purposes: responding to your inquiry, operating and securing the Demo, complying with law.
- Sale or sharing: we do notsell or “share” (as defined by the CPRA) personal information.
- Sensitive personal information: we do not collect, use, or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the requested service.
- Rights: you may request to know, delete, correct, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. You may exercise these rights at info@proholisticdiscovery.com. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their CCPA/CPRA rights.
12.4 Other Jurisdictions
If you reside in another jurisdiction whose privacy laws grant you rights similar to those above (for example, Brazil's LGPD, Japan's APPI, Singapore's PDPA, or the Australia Privacy Act), please contact us at the address in Section 16 and we will honour applicable requests.
13. Children's Privacy
The Demo is intended for use by professionals and researchers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that higher age applies). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take prompt action to delete it.
14. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your personal information for profiling or automated decisions about you. The predictions shown in the Demo are computed from public chemical compound data, not from anything about you.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Demo, our practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. For material changes, we will use a reasonable method to notify you, such as a notice on the Demo. Your continued use of the Demo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
